A Hidden Gem

Ferry Bridge House is a unique waterfront getaway on a private peninsula in Talbot County, Maryland (STRN-24-18).

Talbot County is located in the heart of Maryland's Eastern Shore. Founded around 1661, it's named for Lady Grace Talbot, sister of Lord Baltimore and the first proprietary governor of Maryland.

The perfect balance of rural simplicity and urban refinement Talbot County is home to sophisticated small towns, waterman’s villages, and more than 600 miles of Chesapeake Bay waterfront, making it the treasure of Maryland's Eastern Shore. There's a season for art, film, food, music, and festivals, and a season for quiet and calm, making it a go-to destination for both adventures and relaxing retreats.

Relax and Unwind

The spacious sunroom on the back of the house leads out to an outdoor brick patio overlooking the water. Walk down the steps to the beach and put your toes in the sand or launch a kayak.

Doors from the second floor bedrooms lead onto the balcony where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee or tea, and relax in the evening with a glass of wine.

There are water views from every room in the house with mature hardwood trees and flowers throughout the grounds. In the air you will see ducks, geese, blue heron and eagles.
